A/ The cleaning programme for this area has been reviewed and domestics will carry out a deep clean at least 3 times a week, it is cleaned overnight by our night team and regular checks carried out by staff throughout the day.Our promise is to listen to your views and respond to your comments and suggestions; in our quest for continuous improvement.

WE WERE LISTENING IN NOVEMBER 2009


Q/ 
Most of the music in the gym is not suitable for working out. Not motivational at all during the day.
    

A/ The music system has been reviewed and a more suitable bespoke play list has been developed for the gym.


Q/
Can the showers in the ladies competition changing rooms be adjusted, a little too powerful and they seem to stay on for 15 minutes?
               A/ We have adjusted the shower heads to provide a choice of pressure and to stay on for a maximum of 2 minutes. The temperature is adjustable via the sensor on the wall.
Q/ We no longer have close contact with the Fit at 50 manager and we find that we have to air our comments to the receptionists.   


A/
We have arranged 3 Customer Forums for Active Lifestyle participants. The forums will be held on the balcony outside of the Group Fitness Studios on Tuesday 1st December, Thursday 3rd December and Friday 4th December between 11.00am and 1.30pm.

Q/ The sauna and steam room do not smell very nice, please can you do something about it?

 


A/
Following feedback, we have arranged for eucalyptus essence to slowly feed through in to both the steam room and the sauna creating an easier to breathe, pleasant environment.


WE WERE LISTENING IN DECEMBER 2009

Q/ Please check on the hand soap dispensers in the studio toilets, they never seem to be working in this area!   A/ The venue quality inspection check list for this area has been reviewed and all staff are to check this area on a daily basis.

WE WERE LISTENING IN JANUARY 2010

Q/ I've used Kinesis before and find this very valuable & good to use. Could you open the Kinesis room for people who want to use it?

                A/ Kinesis is now available for gym users who have completed a Kinesis induction. The room, which is located in the gym, is open for up to four individuals at any one time. Please ask a member of the gym staff for further details.
Q/ Real knives and forks in the café would make it easier to eat, could you please supply?   A/ Metal cutlery is now available in Foodetc.

Q/ I accidentally left a towel which was disposed of. I understand that you can't keep all lost property but can you keep items for at least 48 hours?

 

A/ We have reviewed our lost property procedure and will ensure that we keep all property for at least seven days.

Q/ Some lane ropes are not up to scratch for events, they are missing floats and exposing wires.  

A/ The lane ropes have been changed temporarily whilst we refurbish the existing ropes.

Q/ Please can you clean the changing areas regularly?  

A/ We have recruited additional staff to ensure that we maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the building.

Q/ Could we have hair straighteners in the female members changing area?   A/ Hair straighteners have been installed in the vanity area of the female members changing room.

WE WERE LISTENING IN MARCH 2010


Q/ Had to queue for ages at main reception to get my ticket stamped for the car park?               A/ Main reception, kiosk and the members spa are able to stamp the tickets therefore reducing queuing time, the tickets can also be stamped on the way in.
Q/ Deep clean the spa regularly and make sure checks are carried out half way through the day.   A/ The cleaning programme for this area has been reviewed and domestics will carry out a deep clean at least 3 times a week, it is cleaned overnight by our night team and regular checks carried out by staff throughout the day.
Q/ Not enough chairs to relax on in the spa area. Was especially busy today in there, are some broken?   A/ Additional furniture has been added and is monitored for faults and breakages. Five pieces of furniture at one time in this area adheres to health and safety.
