Top Sheffield sporting facilities are bringing their fitness activities to the city centre this summer.
Following a successful summer session at Sheffield railway station, Fitness Unlimited is back on the road, running gym taster sessions featuring fitness testing and nutritional advice at Barkers Pool.
Sporty city centre shoppers will also be able to get their skates on after they shop and have a go on iceSheffield’s outdoor rink.
Other activities include body MOT and Body Mass Index (BMI), sit and reach, resting pulse rate, blood pressure and flexibility testing.
The sessions give people a chance to sample fitness classes available across Fitness Unlimited’s four gyms in Sheffield – the Fitness Industry Association’s 2010 Centre of the Year, Concord Sports Centre, four times FIA winner Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Ponds Forge International Sports Centre and Don Valley Stadium.
The sessions run at Barkers Pool on Saturday, August 14 and Friday, August 27.
Fitness Unlimited will also be returning the Sheffield railway station on Thursday, August 19, providing more information to the public on keeping fit and healthy eating habits.
