Fitness enthusiasts from Sheffield are being invited to take part in a free masterclass at one of the city’s top leisure venues.
Ponds Forge International Sports Centre is hosting a special two hour fitness class where participants will be able to try their hand at Body Attack and Body Pump.
The master class, which is taking place on 1 September, will include one hour of Body Attack - a high intensity cardio vascular exercise programme, and one hour of Body Pump – a weight-based session which works each of the major muscle groups, including chest, back, shoulders, and abdominals.
The session is open for both Fitness Unlimited members and non-members, and newcomers to Body Attack and Body Pump can workout at their own pace.
People will also have the chance to win prizes in a raffle, including tickets to concerts at the Motorpoint Arena and Sheffield City Hall, as well as Ponds Forge vouchers.
Helen Broadbent, general manager at the Sheffield International Venues (SIV) managed facility, said: “Body Attack and Body Pump are two of our most popular classes at Ponds Forge, so we wanted to give both our members and non-members the chance to have a taster session for free.
“It’s not only a great work out and a chance to socialise with people who have a similar interest, but an opportunity to win some exciting goodies! All people have to do is turn up on the day to take part completely free of charge.”
The fitness master class will take place on 1 September at 6.00pm. To take part, simply register at reception on the day and a free ticket to the session will be given.
