University Netball is one of the finest showcases for future international talent. Of the current England Netball squad Joanne Harten was crowned a BUCS champion in both 2009 and 2011 as part of the Loughborough Lightning team. Current England players Kadeen Corbin (Bath), Rachel Shaw (Leeds Met) and Sophia Candappa (Loughborough) are still at their universities and could yet make this year’s BUCS Netball Final. In addition many of the players competing in the BUCS competition regularly feature in the FIAT Netball Superleague so the quality of play is of the highest in the Country.The culmination of the BUCS Netball Championship & Trophy will be at The BUCS Championships in Sheffield in March 2012.
