The money raised as part of the World Water Bombing Championships will help fund our increasing range of services, including our Macmillan nurses, doctors and other health and social care professionals, new cancer care centres, a range of cancer information, practical help at home and help with money.

Currently one million people are living with cancer in the UK. If current trends continue five million more of us will be told we have the disease between now and 2020.

Macmillan Cancer Relief is working towards the day when everyone in the UK has equal and ready access to the best information, treatment and care for cancer.

Right from the beginning, we help to provide the expert care, practical and emotional support that makes a real difference for people living with cancer.
